Buddha Smriti Park is situated near Patna Junction. The park was inaugurated in 2010 on the occasion of the 2554th birth anniversary of Lord Buddha.
The park has been constructed at the place where once Bankipore Jail stood. A part of the jail boundary has been preserved in the park.
The museum which will house the statues of Buddha in different postures. The museum was inaugurated in September 2013.

Front view of the entry ticket to the park. Ticket cost is Rs 10 ( mid 2013). Entry time 9:00 Am to 7:00 PM.

The above ticket does not include visit to the Karuna Stupa which contains the sacred relics of Buddha brought from different countries. A special ticket ( price Rs 50) has to be taken separately from the counter. A guard accompanies the visitor to the chamber which contains the relics.
