National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna is an autonomous institute under Ministry of HRD, New Delhi. It was established in 2004 by converting erstwhile Bihar College of Engineering (BCE) into NIT.
The main building of NIT. The historical building belonged to the Bihar College of Engineering (BCE) which was upgraded to the NIT status in 2004.
View of NIT from Gandhi Ghat, which is situated behind NIT campus. Many new buildings have been constructed in the BCE campus after its up-gradation. Gandhi Ghat is a favorite destination among the students of NIT Patna.

ReplyDeleteYour blog is good. However the header says NIT, Patna is the only NIT in the state of Bihar. Please correct that as every state does have one NIT only.
